Instead of making the side switch time limited, make it cost perks to switch to the high numbered side. Tonight there are more rooks than bish and knits combined. Many used their one-per-night switch to switch to the high numbered side, making for very unbalanced game play.
-
that is true, we had a balanced arena about the same number of rooks/bishops/knights. within 10 minutes rooks increased their numbers and bishops/nights decreased almost by the same amount. this happens often. perhaps the option to pay 40 or 50 perks to switch to a country that has more than 10% than the country with the lowest number of players should be given. if you dont want to pay then wait the full 12 hours. if you are just logging in then the option to pay will be given before you enter the arena. but you must wait the time we had before 2 hours between switching or perhaps lower it to 1 hour.

not against side switching, but against most people taking advantage of side switching to horde. like I have mentioned many times before, only a few people will switch to help the low side. most switch to horde with whichever country is hording at the time.

Got it. <S>

When I switch, it's to help find fights and I usually join the low-number side depending on what I see happening on the map (yes, I actually read the map and try to figure out what's actually going on). Does that mean I'll get PAID perkies to join to low side?
I really think everyone just needs to relax a bit and play the game instead of obsessing over things.

that would be an actual miracle for the majority...
-
what i see in the game with most people is there more worried about getting perks than just playing the game and making it fun for everyone
-
Most big imbalances I see are due to a dislike for the map at that time.
They move to the side that stands the best chance of winning and make it happen faster.
I don't have a problem with that but I don't dislike any of the maps.
-
Not gonna lie, gettign real tired of getting picked by Bish 262s while also engaged in fighting on the target-rich (zomg hordez) Rook-front.
-
Last night there were more rooks than bish and knits combined. The bish did not have enough numbers to even get the attention of the rooks. At one point I believe the rooks had x3 the numbers of the bish.
It wouldn't be so bad if there was only 2 sides, but because there are 3, the third side was ignored as the rooks would rather fly in a cloud of green and get easy victories against the knights than defend their own bases.
And no, there were no bish 262 as the rook/knit fight was sectors away from any bish base.
-
So did the rooks get the map changed last night? Looks like the same map now but, most of the bases have been taken back or the war was won but no new map.
Was last night an attempt to get a different map?

no we stopped them at 2 bases, but they managed to capture 3 more unopposed on another part of the map. when the hording started I killed a couple of guys that had been fighting with me a couple of minutes earlier on that same base. rook's eny went from 0 to 20+ in a matter of minutes. it's the same thing that happens every night around midnight pacific time except now instead of the bishops are the rooks, due to vtards switching to rooks.

So this is a good thing for the Euro crowd right?? Late night U.S.A. numbers to organise against.
And here last year Lusche was worried Euro time would be low numbers and boring.......
Lusche...hey Lusche....you need to organise a resistance and show the vTardlings "EURO MIGHT"...... :)

No bustr, the Euro crowed is much later try 6-10 AM PST not 12 AM PST. This is a few West coast USA, Aussies, Kiwis and Asian players. Also, I have noticed a rapid drop off in players in this group.
Euro players for the most part are PST-8, 6AM = 10PM GMT

yes there was, a40, a24 or a28...262s were cheap for the bish and more than usual were flying them.

so you expect all the bish to be able to up 262s and join in on the fun... so the avg bish gets what... maybe one flight that night?

actually my thing had nothing to do with the vtards directly and more to do with balanced sides. This week its the vtards, next week its god-knows-who.

lose ALL perks

I agree, the game would benefit if something were done to decrease the effect of ENY & allow country hopping without encouraging spy allegations or actual spying out of activities.

what? did you even look at the context? you made a statement, i countered that statement had nothing to do with what i expect.
