I just wanted to see if anyone could help me with disabling Processes I DO NOT NEED to help maximize my gameplay....anyone have a clue or can help me?

Black viper http://www.blackviper.com/category/guides/windows-xp/  is a good place to start.  It will tell you what is safe to disable.
It also has the default settings, in case you want to turn something back on, but forgot what it was.

I use XP Pro.
Using the info on Blackviper's page, I created an AH Profile that has 19 processes in the background.
Definitely go there.  :old:
