Title: Calling all Australians and New Zealanders
Post by: Brooke on August 20, 2011, 04:58:51 PM
September 7 is the anniversary of the Battle of Milne Bay.

Please join me for "This Day in WWII:  the Battle of Milne Bay", a themed event running in Special Events II arena on September 7 at 9 pm Melbourne time.  (Yes, an event at a good time for you!)

Please help me recruit for a strong Aussie and Kiwi turn out.

Brooke do you intend to run this on Sept 7 evening time in Australia like last year. Sept 8th is my birthday and I don't intend to be stuck in front of a computer.

Thats my Bday, but i usually get kicked out of all the pubs by 8pm on my Bday as its starts 12 hours prior so if i can be delivered and proped up in the den i hope to make it but i wont remember play it on the 8th and the 8th is my wife's Bday and i am glad its not then as the wife ack would be 10inch flak if i suggested we come home early so i can play the game.

Is this a walk on event?

It is an event open to all players, no registration needed.  Also, people can show up late -- I don't close the doors at start time.

Forkits punctuation usually consists of swear words, probably better he doesn't punctuate.

Yep – it’s on again.

Brooke did a fantastic job of this last year and altered the time zone to suit - what a legend!

We were all “Bluey Truscotts” last time around as the evil foe tried to invade a small country that we invaded before them.

Am I in?

Does the pope wear a hat?
Are the Kennedy’s gun shy?
Do the Hemmingway’s get sad?
Does Tongs wear mint sauce as aftershave?

Des – why don’t you fly allies? – You can be like Fuji from McCales Navy  (Google and Youtube that one mate).

And I hope the No.1 ranked squad will make it. They may wing up well but they don’t know what a “King Brown” or a “Winnie Blue” is.

Thanks again Brooke

I am not your friend or i would pull your head out of your ass!
When we get perks points for spelling or punctuation i would maybe care but for now its a bbs not a published novel.
