1. I would like to thank anyone that joined my missions, flew with, ran a goon for me, had fun with or learned from or if I learned from you. You made the game totally worth the money. I will not forget the GHI B-26 missions or the 130 lancs over a large airfield I helped put up one day. I meet a lot of great people and sticks (Dr7 at a spawn point gives me nightmares and I would PM him or Butcher then laugh after a rocket voullllch). If you sent me a check 6-double thank you and if you told me a dirty joke while NOE and I nailed a tree, thank you for making me laugh or picking on me. I also would like to thank the Alchs, Devils, Jokers, Swampdragons, 20th, 367th, BOPS as a whole. I played this game for almost 4 years. I know for a fact as soon as I post this that the negative hearts will be typing away and saying bad things about me and that is fine. The real stupid thing is this. This is the cyber world. I would beat money that everyone's love of this game would transend your differences and if you meet the same person in the REAL WORLD-chances are you would make a friend or at least buy him a beer, share pics of your kids or talk about airplanes Heck in WW1 the Germans and Brits played soccer on Xmas day.
2. Before you blast me know this about me IN THE REAL WORLD. I am 42 years old, I saved my money to earn a pilots license (low middle class family), I worked 2 jobs while a full time college student, I have two aviation degrees, I spent 5 years active duty USMC, paid for the GI Bill, I am currently in the Missouri Air National Guard C-130s (on duty right now because of the floods on the Missouri river), I have earned 23 medals and ribbons, deployed 5 times to the sand box. I watched the second Tower go down live on 9/11. I have worked as a Aircraft Mechanic. I build plastics scale models on a national award winning level. I had to watch my Dad die over a three month period in a hospital. I have had a gun pointed at me twice in my life time. I worked my donut off for a boss that in the end treated me like toliet paper. I love car shows. I have a brother who was a scout sniper. I treat everyone with respect and always try to see another point of view too some degree. If I am flat out wrong on something-then I will apologize.
3. I wish EVERYONE good luck, even those that hate my guts-why because in the end-haterd only gets you a heart attack.
Take Care, Semper Fi
Jeff

In your honor, I'll suggest we fly Brewsters instead... don't hold your breath.

Chewie..... the laughs and jokes on vox were priceless and fun times. I wont judge or try to change anyones p.o.v. Each person here on the boards and in the game are entitled to their opinion and often times as in the real world an individuals perception is their reality. Having said that you are one of those gents that i enjoyed winging with. For me this game is about getting away from reality and having fun if for only a little while. BEST of luck to you sir.

You should! If you're going to NOE horde a field, do it in Brews! I would bet that it would be more fun then B&Zing in P51Ds.
-
While I have to admit that defending against your noe runs were more satisfying than flying in them, they were fun none the less. I'll always remember running massive missions with the alchemists, jokers, and devils rejects. They were fun to join, and never boring.
Take care :salute

I'll post the mission, but don't expect an NOE... Enjoy the feast. Film of our ass-whooping pending.

As one of the nameless you probally sent flaming into cyberearth :salute.
Thanks for your past and present service to the country.
The intensity of this game does bring out the ugly side of some people that let their emotions get the better of them. Hopefully they are the minority.
Love your short history that many would only hope to achieve. I know what it's like busting your butt for a POS boss.

Chewie it was alot of fun flying with and against you and the horde. no matter what there was always a good laugh to be had :aok <S> bud come on back soon
-
Flew against you once as a pretty green pilot (after two years, I'm no longer pretty green, just green)... You were in a 39Q, IIRC, I in a 109G-14. I came dangerously close to getting killed. I think somebody else id'd you. I ended up getting some speed and climbing away for my life. It was an early demonstration to me that the pilot is the key component. Just last w/e I saw someone flying a 39Q extremely well - it reminded me of that early experience.
In any case, good luck. It was entercational.
-
:salute Chewi, only saw one of your missions once, and that was from the rook side, I just ran like a little girl. :lol

You all make it so hard to give up. Thanks and yes I do remember about to FINALLY nail a few of you and then the next thing I know-"TOWER" me saying WTF? I also remember someone telling a joke in one mission that made me blow milk out my nose and onto the TV screen with burggers. Take care Jeff.

Chewie,
Sad to see this happen. With great success comes great criticism. It's what happens when you are really good at what you do and others can't replicate your success. True not everyone thought highly of hoard missions but it's just another way to play the game and you organized some great raids. It's one of the principles of war though to overwhelm your enemy with numbers and brute force and you were a master at making that happen. Come to think of it, it's one of the reasons the allies won WWII in RL. It's also called Teamwork. As in RL, it takes many players with different skill sets to make a championship team and the AH game will be worse off without you in it.
GL Sir :salute.
I enjoyed flying with you and hope to see you back someday.
