Turn the country switch time limit back to 1 hour, oh and while your at it implement LOCAL eny. Ever since the vtards and alcoholics moved to rook, its nothing but unbalanced garbage game play...especially during off hours. I would switch to bish but If I wanted to just fly around and not fight anyone, I could do that off line. The least you could do is turn off eny during off hours. ::end rant::

Alchys are bish again sir

Turn the country switch time limit back to 3 hours, oh and while your at it implement LOCAL eny. fixed. 3 would be better because your probably gonna get a bunch of tards coming in here saying "what about teh spIeZ!?"

Cut the switch time from 12 hours to 6 hours this way we still don't get people switching sides as soon as they see a faction winning just for the points.
-
How about 3 to 4 hours? I would be good with it but I would prefer 1 or 2 hour.

They won't get the points anyway, I think you need to be on the roster of the winning side for several hours for points to be awarded (it may be 12, I forget the exact number). People switching at the last minute don't get awarded anything.

you are correct, some players i was fighting against at one base where the same players i was fighting WITH at another Base, they changed to 'win teh wArZ".The gameplay is just is terrible anymore.

Assuming that's why they did that. Back under the one hour switch limitation it wasn't unheard of that I'd find myself on different sides of the same fight. :)

Did the 12-hour rule have to do with spying?
I liken this to a pickup game of basketball. If it is lopsided who has fun, so a few guys switch sides. I say move the penalty to about 5 minutes. This makes spying a bit dated but allows people that switch to balance out fights.

Don't believe so, I *think* it was done because Late war returned to a single arena. Before the arena split it was 12 hours, the arenas split and it was reduced to one so that people could go from blue to orange and switch sides if needed. Now that one arena is back so is the old switch time.
Just a guess on my part though.
-
Well it seems all the gangers and vulchers have gone to the Knit side. We "Rooks" dont even bother playing that side of the map anymore.

HiTech said when they went back to one arena they had just missed changing the switch to 12 hours. It was changed back to 12 as it was before the arena split.

I used to think one hour was a long time.

Wrong.
All three countries do the same. The biggest difference is between the large squads and their particular style of play.
-
:x I fly Bish now so I can find someone to fight anytime I want. Perkies aren't bad either.

the 12 hour time limit has cut down on a lot of country switchers that only switch to horde. perhaps you guys should ask the vtard/valquemists to switch back to bishop.

I would probably be asking alot to post some sort of proof of your claim...so I wont and continue to let you talk out your ass

Let me elaborate on why I made that post last night... Knits and Rooks were the only fight going on....on the extreme west side of the map. We were roughly equal numbers...Rooks had an avg of 4 more in flight...So it was about 40 to 36 in favor of the rooks...Our eny was hovering over 20, while the knits was about 11....The bish of course were outnumbered by nearly double, but no one was fighting them save for the odd 1 or 2 guys trying to milk a base in bishland. I don't switch countries a lot, but when numbers and eny get that bad, I will do it. The problem is there was no point. When it is that late (around 11:45pm PST) ENY makes no sense, and should not be turned on. The numbers are far too low, and ENY fluctuates too fast and too greatly with the addition or subtraction of just a couple players. I was forced to up a Boston lol...which was fun for a while, but getting picked by D9s and 109Ks is lame when you know they only are down a couple players to your side, yet their eny is so much better. A local ENY of some type would cure that problem. Sure, it would take some thinking, and planning to make work, but I think HT and crew are pretty smart...they can figure it out.
-
yeah I was there on the west side... I almost switched bish until I guessed correctly that nothing was happening for them...
I don't care for the 12 hr limit. 1 hr is sufficient, 2 at most. IMHO
I also notice that bish have nbrs earlier in the day, while knits pick up nbrs in the evening. I'm sure rooks have their own "horde-ish" time period as well.

Changing the time to 12 hours promotes hording.

:rofl :rofl Don't start what you can't finish.

What about keeping it at 12 hours, but making it so you can switch to the lower numbers side whenever you want? :bolt:

Sounds good to me 6GUN.

I like the 12 hour limit. Haven't had one mission jumped or CV gang raped since it was implemented
