Funny and sad at the same time.

My wife and I take care of my grandfather who is a WWII Navy vet and just celebrated his 90th birthday.  He has macular degeneration and is all but blind, now.  I'm waiting to come home to the house on fire one day because he can't see that his cigarette is still smoldering away, down to and past the filter, in the ash tray.  :noid
