Title: Oregon State Football
Post by: Pigslilspaz on August 26, 2011, 06:52:22 PM
Just got news that my baby brother is not going to be red shirted his freshman year.

Keep an eye on this kid, I was on his team every year we played football until we got to highschool, and this is actually his first year ever he has not started on both sides of the ball.

Cool... I've always remained interested in the Ducks especially since my trips to Eugene back in the day.  Talk about a place I'd love to live.

Good luck to him and you sir.   :salute

Watched his games against Crenshaw(junior year I think) and Servite. He's a great player, he played MLB in high school right?

No, that would have been one of our best friends, Blake Renaud. Chuck played DE.

Also, as a joke while playing NCAA 12, I tried to make my brother's character have personal fouls to make it a more accurate simulation lol.

Sometimes, I wish the Spaten premium would numb more than my brain, and in this last example...my fingers.

Oh jeez. Just because you were the nerd that got shoved into the locker at school by the athletes doesn't mean you have to pollute the thread with your drivel. :rolling eyes:

Pigs...Good luck to him! He looks like a beast!

In your dreams SD.

Chronic traumatic encephalopathy, or CTE, is a neurodegenerative disease often found in athletes who have experienced repetitive mild head trauma. Long known to have affected boxers who have taken many blows to the head, CTE has been recently discovered in football players.

It's quite obvious some of the folks posting in this thread have had repeated blows to the head. Sheesh. :bhead

I've had a few concussions in my years. Played football in high school, nationally ranked rugby during college. During one of my episodes my girlfriend told me I was pregnant. I cried, having no idea how that happened. I got the last laugh on her though...

Back to the football thing, finally have a reason to root for Oregon State. That and they will play Utah, which I greatly dislike.

My two favorite teams to hate are Colorado (really classless fans) and USC (University of Spoiled Children)
