It's true, I saw it (mostly in my rear view mirror), it was horrible!
Rumor has it that it was a Blender equipped twin engined abomination!
It was horrible, and horrifying, and horrific all at the same time.
I am distraught and discombobulated.
I'm scared to sleep. Every time I close my eyes I see a pudgy hairy guy, in a short black dress wearing heels, checking out my six.
I'm scarred for life .

Just sad. A guy with a German name, a good axis pilot, and he flys a P-38 without the least bit of shame. Last time I took out a P-38, I imediatly took a shower and disinfected my hands.

hell, then you musta missed me in the spit5! :D

:rofl :rofl
P-38 isnt bad, dont know why yall dont like it :)
-
1) its allied
2) its hard to beat, a good P-38 is just a headache for just about any axis aircraft (Btw, you are a member of the first squadron to fly a 262, so......).
3) I've never been good in it, I don't like its looks (just kind of bulky and cumbersom), and the only good thing I can say about it is it has nice convergance.

i feel there is no "in between" with the p38. when you come upon one, either it's gonna be a stupidly easy kill(such as when i'm flying it), or it's gonna eat ya for lunch.

I never have problems shooting down 38s.....now Brewsters are another story I hate those F******
-
Exactly CAP1, and by the time the Axis pilots are done with their first fight, all the idiots have been killed already, leaving just the experten.
I also hate Dr1's and F2B's in the WWI arena. Seems like the D7 is the only plane where pilots use manuvers other than the flat-turn with.

the only time i flew ww1 aircraft, was when jaeger set up a ww1 week. i tried the sopwith.....all i did was spin, and do my airborn impression of a torpedo......which shirly dubbed "the airpedo". :devil
