Aces High Bulletin Board

I searched for a solution, but the only thing I could find pertains to Windows Vista/7. I'm running XP SP3, all drivers up to date, and Aces High crashes on startup every single time. I can get it to launch if I set it to Windows 98 compatibility mode (like the Vista/7 fix), but is running in compatibility mode impacting my FPS? I tried emailing technical support, but it's been several weeks with no reply. I used my gmail account, so there is no reason the email would have been blocked.

I respond to every email I get, within 1 business day of getting it. So, if you did not get a response, it was either due to us not getting it or gmail not allowing us to send to your account. The latter is very possible. In that event, it might end up in your spam folder.
This one sounds like you have run into the bug within the AMD multi-core CPU's we happen to hit. It simply means you will have to run the game as you have done. All it does is force the game to be kept on one core of the CPU. It does impact performance as Aces High is natively multi-threaded.
There is nothing we can do about it. The AMD supplied fix does not work for every step of thier CPU's.
