Title: 7 years ago...
Post by: tmetal on August 29, 2011, 05:34:18 PM
I married the best woman in the world, and as proof of that claim I submit this: She will sit and listen to me describe the trials and triumphs in my latest AH adventures with a loving and attentive smile on her face the entire time.   :aok

Unfortunately we don't have the money for a fun night out, so we will have to settle with shipping the kiddos off to friend's houses for the evening and enjoying each others company at home. (which is just as good in our book)

I like those kind of stories always nice to hear.

Been 16 years for me and my wife will say, " hey I'm going to read for a bit why don't you go fly"  :D

We had hot dog dates at Circle K when we first got married. We just didn't have the money for anything else.

My wife once bragged in a social setting that I killed two planes at one time, then asked me to explain the details of a 2 v 1 to these strangers. Awkward but fun. The guests thought I should pick up golf. As they said this I'm thinking a Bf-109Golf.

Boo

Been with the wife going on 8 years...  I work as an executive chef, so going out has to be something over the top..  We are not "going out" type people..  Otherwise, our nights out(which are really nights in) consist of getting rid of the little jawas(our kids) for the weekend and having an empty house as a canvas in which to do anything we wish......  Anywhere we wish.......

Question.  Is there some magical land where you gentlemen are finding good wives?  Cause I don't want to get burned again and waste 6 or so years or my life again.

Dead on, sir...  Dead on.  :lol

I'm also blessed with a great woman.  Mrs. Wiley puts up with all of it, including the occasional bout of AH-induced Tourette's that occurs when something bad happens to me in a perk plane or during FSO.  She also bought me my rudder pedals for my birthday when I thought we only had enough cash for a HOTAS.  I knew right then that she was a keeper.  Yes she has a sister, but her sister is also taken.

8 years and change for us.  Congrats tmetal.

Wiley.

lmao dedalos  :lol  my wife hates shopping almost as much as I do, but she has mentioned wanting to get us a new computer that can better handle gaming so that I will quit using her comp for hours on AH.  Wont happen anytime soon though, we are saving what we can for our new years trip to hawaii to visit my brother and his family before he deploys again.

Mhmm, she hates shopping but was the first to propose getting you a new computer for yourself, eigh?  They're good at that... real good....   :devil

When you put it that way, it does sound like a flanking maneuver.  :uhoh
