I say Beavers. Mostly because I have a personal stake in it (my little brother). Cal Poly is Div II so... :uhoh :bolt:
-

-
Whomever wins the Oregon/LSU game this weekend. I picked the Ducks since LSU is down 2 offensive starters.

You are beating a dead horse on that. Might go for Nebraska or Wisconsin.

Purdue is going to be bad once again. I'm guessing four wins on the season, and that's my fandom being optimistic. Danny Hope is a bad coach who can't manage the clock well enough to save his job if he was anywhere other than Purdue. But at Purdue he's going to get probably two more years because he's not running afoul of the NCAA and he's graduating kids with decent GPAs. Those are good things, but those are baseline expectations for any coach, and shouldn't be enough to save someone's job when you lose to Indiana at home. Our season ticket and attendance numbers are going to have to get really bad to get rid of him, and in the next two years, I predict it will get that bad. Which is sad because Tiller built our program up to a respectable level finally, and its all going to crumble on down again. Our only chance for success is that one of the QBs on the depth chart turns out to be the next Drew Brees or even Kyle Orton.
Purdue has one good running back in Ralph Bolden and a couple very fast corners that are going to make some plays. And an All-American place kicker. And that's about it. Usually we also have a future NFL D-lineman but I think the last good one just graduated. If you're in the Big Ten you can chalk Purdue up as a W.
Edit: That said, I will be in the D-lot tailgating before every home game. This year is all about the tailgate.

I hate them with a passion but the Sooners will be the team to beat this year. My Longhorns will have a 9 or 10 win season.
-
Oh its 2:23 and OU still sucks.

-
Oklahoma had a walk-on score 4 td's lastnight. Put the starters in against Florida State in a few weeks.
-
Bama..roll tide!
I am a Bucks fan also so ill go Bama and bucks in the big game with Bama winning :rock
-
Huge Gator fan here but I dont seem them doing well, not a fan of Brantley at all. Still have the 2 headed punch in Jeff Demps and Chris Rainey but cant run the ball every play. Defense is young and fast.
I think its going to be Wisconsin in the BCS, team is stacked offensively.
-
I guess we will see another sSEC team win the NC, agian.
-
michigan and notre dame, game of the year.

Many rumors coming from people in the know in Morgantown say that WVU filed paperwork to the SEC. Just a day after Pitt and 'Cuse went to the ACC.

I want to say my LONGHORNS , but I don't think they can get there this year...and I can't root for Oklahoma....but I really think they are the ones to beat this year.

Purdue this season has overachieved by most measures (in my opinion). But they alternate between getting destroyed and beating teams they have no business beating. Wisconsin scored over 60 on Purdue last week, the first time in history that Purdue has given up more than 60 points to any opponent in football. Before that Purdue beat Illinois, a much better team, and today we stunned (the) Ohio State University. I gotta tell you, as cocky as most OSU fans are while visiting Ross Ade Stadium, its great to yell at them "Oh Aych - Oh Enn Oh!" after you beat their bellybutton for the second consecutive time in our stadium (top-ten ranked OSU lost to us in Ross Ade in 2009 too).
Some images for Purdue (and Michigan) fans' enjoyment (clickable thumbnails):
