Title: Time to upgarde the Japanese fighter N1K1 bomb load?....
Post by: Airwolf on September 07, 2011, 01:13:59 PM
As it stands now, it's only allowed 2x 250kg bombs, however, the N1K1 Jc Model 11 allowed for 4x 250 kg bombs to be loaded...This would certainly help in bringing a Japanese plane closer to what the U.S. planes can carry....

First off, we don't have the N1K1-Jc or any other N1K1 type or the N1K2-Ja, we have the N1K2-J.

Second, both the N1K1-Jc and the N1K2-Ja were the fighter-bombers of the George types and had additional racks under the wings for additional bombs (4x 250kg), while the N1K2-J was the land based interceptor variant and not equipped with additional bomb and only carried 2x 250kg bombs.

To answer your question, no it's not.

What?...That's what I'm suggesting...Adding in the N1Ki Jc variant that comes equipped with 4x 250kg bombs...Look at how many variants are offered for the P-47 and the P-51....Or the different types of Spitfire's....So what if it's fighter-bomber?...As if they don't exist in AH...So OK...Don't call it an "upgrade", lets just add in a "variant" of the George....It would be used far more than some of the other planes that exist in AH...

you never said "adding" anything. you said its time for an uprgrade for the bomb loads, not the plane itself. if you really did want to add a new variant and not just upgrading the current one we have then put it in the wishlist.

So, people are making suggestions on what kind of planes AH add to the game, but adding in a variant of the George can't done?... :huh

you said you wanted ours upgraded into one of these. not an entire new plane.

OK...I used the wrong term ...Lets, then, add the George "variant" that can carry 4x 250kg bombs...It would get a lot of usage....

I think you missed the chance for extra versions with the model update on the N1K....I was hoping for a F6F-3 when the F6F got updated...I'm still waiting.
