OK,hitech just anounced a new plane...the p-40F....why? when we need so many others.....more japanese,russian and italian planes please....and france too...i mean even finland is represented in this game with the brewster...and how many brewsters did finland have????? wasnt it like 44....pretty sure it was.... how about D520 for france, G-55 fiat for italy and maybe a bomber/transport like SM-82 or sparrowhaw SM-79.....maybe PE-2 yak-3 or even MIG-3 for russia,and how anout KI-44,J2M,KI-45 for japan..and for germany please ,finally add the ju-52 transport and another bomber...like the JU-188,or HE-219,or HE-177..and while we are at it...NEW maps! and maybe a british tank for gods sake.....help me out here guys and beg,call,complain and post for some of this stuff.....PLEASE!!!

how do you know they aren't working on any of that now? the only time we hear about what's coming is when they are close to releasing it, we hear nothing about what's being worked on until then. the p-40f was an easy add, whereas any of the other planes you mentioned would take a lot more time and research.
just hold your skivvies up and try to enjoy what's available.

Personally i'd like to see the planes we have updated before any new A/C are added.
But im betting HTC plans on starting a pattern of country specific updates.
Like, a ju88&me110 update with the he111 thrown in.
Or a ki61+ki67 update with the ki44.
Or maybe we might even get the ki44 with this new update. Curious why HTC is suddenly so interested in the p40. But if they are, the ki44 was one of the p40s biggest enemies so it seems right for them to release it with a new p40.

Variants of existing airframes are much easier to add than entirely new airframes. Don't hyperventilate over it.
I imagine we'll likely see another P-40 announced as well as one or two new aircraft and/or GVs for the next version.

I'm gonna love seeing alpini13 blow a gasket when HTC announces the P-38F, P-38H, and the P-38J-25-L0 as the next planes to be added.

Speaking of the 38,been meaning to ask you this ack.
Whats the early 38 model that had the 37mm cannon that was replaced with the 20mm cannon in later models? Its the plane the p38G substitutes for Early War.

There was never a production model P-38 with a 37mm cannon, it was only on paper. The P-38G doesn't substitute for any other P-38 in the EW arena, the P-38G was an early war era Lightning.

when the day comes that the StuG III Ausf G. or the P47-D22 comes, then ill get excited. right now the P40-F aint cutting it for me, the P40's were kind of a dissapointment, i was hoping for at least the yaks being updated or a Yak-3.

I cant remember the topic, but in a topic WAY back during winter,(believe it was a EW topic) you said that you didnt even know why the p38 was in EW in the first place.
Which i responded that there was a p38 in service with the Army Air corps during EW's timeframe which consisted of being a 37mm p38.
But because it isent modeled in AH, we get the p38G as a substitute, and its perked to make up for its uberness compared to the early war version.
I keep wanting to say it was called the C model, but i truly cant remember. i'll try to find the topic.

lol. wow, sorry to come off so angry or intense or whatever....all my posts are meant to be funny or sarcastic...this is just a game,its not real,there is no real skill here,i actually have a life other than this game,it is however fun to sit around with friends and play this game while we turn the volume down and make rude comments about the other players. <S> all

If you responded like that then you were incorrect. Again, repeat after me..."There was no 37mm cannon on any production P-38." It was only on paper.

The G wouldn't be "uber" compared to the E or F models, it might be slightly faster but maneuverability would actually favor the E and F as all three would still lack WEP.

There was no "C" variant for the Lightning. The first production model was the D and that was produced with the 20mm cannon and never saw combat operations or flight operations outside of the US.
