Yeah I didn't see it before I posted in here.

As of 4:00pm central time we are down due to a hardware failure.
It will be a minimum of 2 hours before we may be operational.
We apologize.
Thanks

Look at your clock add 2hrs. If not up and running at that time; Comeback here and throw shoe at Hitech. :old:

It looks like it is the scuzzy board on the drive array. Requires a physical move of the cable to the redundant interface. The server is about 1hour 3 mins drive.

The Knits scuttled the server because the ROOKS were about to win teh War!

Lets roll play fighting while the servers down.
I jump in a P-38G and take off, heading northeast climbing at a liesurely 2000fpm. As I climb out, I look left, then right, then back, up and around... head ever on a swivel. From afar, a high dot appears. I keep my concentration on him as I level off my plane, picking up speed... In an instant the bogey is a bandit and icons verify it's an LA-7, he appears to be roughly 15,000 feet, just below the cloud layer.
I notice he spots me and quickly drop my tank, getting light and picking up more speed. The LA has all the advantage and I start to set myself up to break out of a straffing pass... an instant later I hear the sound of Bee's buzzing as the LA streaks past my cockpit at 550mph guns blazing in a High angle forward pass... his guns miss, but he manages to ram off my tail as he goes careening into the side of a nearby mountain. I too tumble from the sky.
wil3ur:200: Nice Ram Jackwad!!!!
Just as good as the real thing!

:rofl I am sorry but the most hilarious thing .......... sc(k)uzzy still get's blamed...... Guess who is doing the Lone Star marathon track???? :bolt: << begins with S and ends with y.
And yes, we are much more amused with this bit on information than annoyed that HTC had a little bit of down time after all these years. :aok
Dale,
Take the gang out for a round at the pub once all is settled down and then send the bill to the s....y guy.
LOLz APDrone :D

That's rediculous. We've been throwing in the towel for the last 4 days so the rooks could win and get us all a new map. What's taking you guys so long?

heck, I would divide the repair bill/hourly cost up among all the AH Players that decided to call and ask what's up after hitech had posted the server is down message to the boards in 2 or 3 different areas.......
people just don't read, I guess
hope the enormous un needed phone calls have receeded at HTC

ugghhh nightmare, Ive always thought the raid controller would be the weak link in my servers. downtime is stressful, sry if my smartarse remark added to it.
-
It's my fault. DL'd game, dusted off CH products... configured hardware.... ready to return to the skies...... FAIL.
-
it's a bummer. I've been on the other side of this from a systems stand-point. Patience always wins. I see the outage expectation has been extended.
Please be patient, I'm sure it'll get fixed.
-
Well, it does over lots of off-line practice :O
-
ok who spilled coffee on the server....lol

I hear ya Steve. I planned on calling with CC info when I got home from work, looked up number, dialed, Carrie told me she couldn't do it. I took it personally at first.
UGH!

could this hardware have contributed to the uprising of disconnections?

be back up and online by 7:30 PM Central

OK. Here's the real story as pieced together by the HTC crash reconstruction team. Cutter56 lifted a set of B-29's from a Field near the edge of the map. While waiting for them to climb he wandered off to fix himself some gumbo.
Unfortunately, the armadillo meat in his gumbo had gone a bit gamey and before he could get out of the bathroom his bombers flew off the edge of the map and banged into the side of the server, knocking it over. Oh the humanity.

But your take is good!

I thought I was kicked off. My first thought was Good, I'll save time and money. My addiction to shoot cartoon airplanes out of the sky has come to an end........... Later that night, I tried logging on again just to make sure and found MY ADDICTION WILL CONTINUE... as long as I let it.
Maybe all I really need to do is cut back my hours and manage my time properly. Thanks for reminding me HTC outage

Hasn't anyone taught skuzzy to lift his feet while walking past wires yet?
