Title: Operation downfall AXIS orders
Post by: jimson on September 25, 2011, 01:06:39 AM
The American invaders have taken the southern half of the island.

Where is your Bushido spirit?

You must counter attack, retake bases and redeem yourselves.

Go and fail no more!

You must not disgrace the Emperor!

Where are the once brave samurai pilots of Nippon?

You have allowed the soil of our homeland to become infested.

Will you not fight back?

If you allow the decadent Americans to steal more of our territory, you will have betrayed our sacred nation.

Should we replace you with our women and children?

Will they give a better accounting of themselves than you have?

  :O  They are here & it is the enemy round-eye.  Summon the Samurai courage and let the Buddha-less heathens be expelled from the Emperor's chosen land

heya jimson,

i found my way into the AvsA last night since a good long while.......

was some great fun starting out, and was somewhat well balanced right up until the allieds were about to take A30

then the axis just up and left except for just 2 of them

I switched over to help the axis, and some others switched over so it wasn't lopsided 11 to 2

but after watching and chasing an F4U4 come from the east side water across A30 to A29 drop on the radar, then haul tail 2 sectors SW to an allied CV on the opposite side of the land mass, I just logged

I was always lower in alt and lower in speed than the allied, but the ki-84 frank's intimidating stories the allieds must have heard, must of been more than that F4U4 allied pilot could handle......... ( I am sure if he knew it was me in that silly ol Ki-84, that he would of turned and fought since I have not a clue on how to fly those franks  :devil )

anyhows........ hope to see more in there again tonight, like it was last night

cheers

TC

Problem will always be lopsided base taking. We have tried locking it out after hours but that's such a hassle trying to turn it on and off at the right times.

If Allies take Kyushu they can move on to try to take the next island.

oh I was not complaining, I had fun........ ( well kind of got ill at myself for suggesting knocking out the ords of A8 / A30 so they would not sink the CV's... then I switched to axis and we didn't have A30 and A8 had no ord's  ROFL ................ thx Melvin  hahaha )

it is good to fly with others that once they realize the fight has gone so lopsided ( 11 allied to 2 axis ) that they have no problems in switching sides to make the fight a lil more even ( 9 allied to 4 axis )

I had just grown tired....  since I logged after that one long chase... and went to bed.......

Oh no, I know you weren't complaining but the lopsided base taking is an issue that's hard to deal with.

I was wondering if the downtimes for ords and such had been extended.

We sure coulda used the ords at A8 to pop again, but unfortunately it didn't come in time to stem the flow.

The downtimes for everything but CV's and shore batteries are set at default.

I am going to evaluate if there are adjustments that should be made. However I am stuck at work right now.
