Do you have other than stock audio package installed?  If so, that has been known to cause the disco.  I had one.  Each time I fly 262 it disconnected.  Went to Technical help and persons said to go back to original game soundpak.  I did and have not disco problems in 262.

all my disco's last month always happened while flying bombers, i think 20 disconnects and after looking through my scores for disconnects i would be on aveage 1 a month if even that. this only happens when flying a Bomber i could fly a fighter sortie for hours on end and never disconnect.

Maybe you're suckin' up too much bandwidth when you "voice PM" every guy that shoots
you down. Try sticking to text PMs for that and see what happens. Hope this
is helpful.

Same non-stock sound pack issues perhaps?

What is different about flying bombers rather than your normal sorties?

I discovered last night that firing all my guns at an intercepting fighter in a B-29 formation drops my frame rate into the single digits.

Do you get discod doing the same thing on your buff runs or is it random?

wrongway

If the soundpack change doesn't fix it, you might try reinstalling the game from scratch.  I've seen similar issues in other similar games where a corrupt file (be it sound or graphic) caused a similar issue.

If disabling the soundpack works, you might try redownloading and installing the soundpack if you still want it, as it's unlikely the pack download contains an already corrupted file.

Good luck, hope you get it solved.

Wiley.

I'm using the stock sound pack, I'm almost sure it has something to do with the B24/Skin Combo maybe, because if i remember i always got disconnected when flying the B24. i flew B29's in the AvA all night and never disco'd, i really don't want to test this theory with B29's in the LW i just don't feel like losing perks that way lol. i do nothing different when I'm flying bombers ( Drop Hangers, Ords and Dar) and it's always on the return home Flight, there's no set time it just happens , it's never before i drop my Bombs. I'll write down the skin i always use maybe it's a combination of plane/skin i dunno, as far as my Frame Rate dropping it never does I'm running SLI'd setup my frame rates are always around 200 +/-

all drivers are current as they can be, now i did get the latest Nvidia video drivers yesterday so i will have to try some bombing runs tonight and see what happens. It's just puzzling me about the disconnects while only flying a Bomber, never fighter or GV.
