+1
Maybe if you keep on pushing for this like people did for the B-29 and M-18, We will get it.

It had two pairs of ganged, geared, inverted V-12 engines. Kinda like cobbling together a W-24 engine on each wing. Kinda. That was a major factor in why the HE-177 was such a disaster out here in RL. It suffered multiple engine problems (fire, oil loss, etc.) throughout development, persisting into deployment.
That, and the RLM insisted on testing it as a dive-bomber!!! We all know that among heavies, that only works for the Lancaster. ;)

Really the way i look at it before we get this we should get the 88 remodeled and then see what he thinks between the He177 and the New Ju-88.
It might be a better option than the betty though we added the betty and you talk about a hangar queen, atleast he wants so he can ACTUALLY FLY IT.
Unlike the betty which basically was blowing smoke up everyones bellybutton that it would get used.

I won't say no to the He-177's introduction to AH (translation: +1). I'd fly her once she's in. :aok
I WILL say that the Do-217 or even the Do-17 would probably be a better add right now than the He-177.

I'm not too familiar with the German bombers but I'm all for one! Whatever is the biggest (production) run model!
