Nasa is the least wasteful entity sponsored by the U.S. Government.
I've been spending a lot of time at Kennedy Space center and nothing is wasted there.
The government should apply Nasa's thriftiness to the rest of thier benefactors and budget shortcomings would become surplus.

Would the MIB be interested in retreiving it, if it was?

No politics in my response but your calling "lock" like "chicken little" could very well accomplilsh what you whine about.

You were the one posting as if the OP didn't really matter.

None of the managers in the programs mentioned is an elected official.
By your definition, we cannot discuss anything sponsored by the government in any way, shape, or form.
It is you who are politicizing this thread.
I've got an idea........Lets talk about NASA's recycling and repurposing of assets

you can't be talking about nasa..."least wasteful"? "thrifty"? :lol :rofl you should go to the nasa facilities where there are no propaganda ministers.

Been in nearly all of the NASA buildings in Houston...no, not the tours either... My fiances' Father and Mother both work for NASA contractors, SAIC and Jacobs Technologies, and are located on-sight. You should really find a friend who will let you in with a visitors pass, and just walk around any NASA facility... it is quite remarkable.
I promise you that his response is pretty spot on, out of all of the agencies, NASA is probably the least wasteful.

you must be mistakenly under the impression that i have never been to a nasa facility. they have had to revise their spending practices over the past 10 years but not to the extent it could be done. like every other agency, if they don't spend the money they won't get more. and like every other government agencey, over priced contractors are part of the wasteful spending. the r&d facilities blow more money than the dea.
-
Actually....they have had to revise thier spending practices over the last 39 years.
