I've had a robomower for years.  Works great.   It saves me about 70 mins worth of mowing each time it runs.  When my neighbor mows, I grab a margarita and wave when he looks my way.

Add an IR sensor to the front, and if you can find the code that controls the motors you could tell the robot to use its pathfinding abilities to follow the closest heat source that is as close to 37C as possible.  Or, you could train a Chihuahua to be an attack dog, both would be about as effective, but the Chihuahua might land you in jail.
