Something like .gun 1 400, .gun 2 375, etc. Gun 1 being inboard, 2 being the next one going outboard, and so on. This would make tuning convergence much less cumbersome.

never even thought about that, good idea :aok

Maybe have '.gun 0 400' switch them all to that point, or '.gun all 400'. I like this idea as well.

It's been suggested before, and the argument has always been you had to adjust convergence on the ground in real life. Switching it to do "in the air" would be one more "gamey" thing added on.

You'll notice the title of the thread: Re: Adjust Convergence In Flight in TA/Offline
Obviously wingwalking in the online arenas is silly.

It would be a great offline practice tool.
Also, has the technology finally evolved to the point where we can change/adjust our gunsight pipers in-flight?
-
Help me clear my ignorance on this one, what about the gunsight piper would you want to change?

The K-14, for example, has an adjustment where you would set it to the wingspan of the aircraft you were pursuing. When the wingspan filled the sight you were at the convergence range of your guns.
....I think.

The gunsights used by the RAF in the Battle of Britain had that feature, so I wouldn't be surprised at all if the K-14 did as well.
