Title: Tracers Wish
Post by: EagleDNY on October 17, 2011, 07:30:24 PM: I really wish that if I set tracers off, and then go up in a buff formation, that the 2 drone idiots next to me would actually obey orders and not have tracers in their guns.

When I set tracers off it is because I don't want the attacking fighter to know that I am shooting at him. It kind of defeats the purpose if the drones open up with tracers.

Post by: Soulyss on October 17, 2011, 07:49:17 PM: You can also just fire the guns in your bomber which doesn't have the tracers till you get the range and lead then cut loose with all ships when you see hit sprites.

You mean historically accurate color tracers for each air force? I think the US has always loaded red, I don't know about other countries though.

But p51's and p38's shooting red tracers of death sounds awesome.

wasent someone going to release those sounds in a soundpack? but skuzzy had to stop it out of fear of Lucas suing.

Something about Lucas being very picky over his sounds being used and has been known to sue others over it before.
