What do you think about this ? could have lots of applications; how does it work?! :headscratch:

That's pretty cool. I can imagine some interesting applications for that.
-
very cool. wonder what the implications for space travel would be?
-
Could be the future of locomotive transportation. Perhaps it could replace current automobiles that use gas as a source of fuel.
-
The problem with this technology is that it requires extremely cold temps to work,I would think they used liquid nitrogen.
I saw a spider being levitated in a magnetic field but this is totally different from using a semiconductor.
There may be practical applications for this in space but on earth I highly doubt it will amount to more than some experimentation.

They've done that with a frog too. It works on the principle that water is actually repelled by a magnetic field.

In 20 years time it will be incorporated into AH :)

Haha, I'd seen that too but had forgotten! Yes same thing as spider but totally different from the semiconductor, electricity does strange thing at the extreme temps if we could maintain those temps cheaply we could solve the energy problem!

Room temperature super conductors are the holy grail. All energy problems would be solved.

WITCH!

amazing.

should work here in Canada :lol
-
WITCH!
May we burn her?
-
should work here in Canada :lol
Pffft, Ghi your in Windsor, thats Canada's banana belt! :neener:
Just up the road in London!

May we burn her?
See if she floats first

See if she floats first
or levitates

Quantum levitation tards??
-
Wonder if we could lock guppys plane parts together?
-
just compare her weight with a duck
just to be sure she is a witch
