I've been looking for more information on a Herman E. King of the 56th FG, 62nd FS. I got a potential tail number/serial number from littlefriends.co.uk: 42-25517 LM-X_
I can't find any mention of him in the few books on the 56th I have, and the google device only comes up with a picture.
Herman King is my boss's father. I'm told he went on to test fly jets, and retired a Colonel.
There's a ton of knowledge in the community. I have my fingers crossed that someone might have some information sitting around in a dusty old book :)
