Title: Aces High wont run

I keep getting this error when I try and start the game. Only got it after I updated to latest patch.

Initialization failed with -9 maiWLD_Failed -1

Any Idea on the problem?

The game cannot find its resources to start.  Usually means the desktop ICON is not point to the right executable.  The best way to solve this is to remove any desktop ICONS and then install the full version over the top of your existing one.

Ok, so would that erase the skins and my view settings, or will I have to start over again?

i had the same issue last night...had a problem with some corruption of the full game download too...after i finally got the full game installer downloaded, installed right over the top of my previous installation and voila, she is good to go.

Whenever you feel the need to re-install the game, because of a bad update or such.
Copy these files to your desktop or a disk, settings, skins, squads, stickdef.

After game re-install you can then place the saved files back in and have all your game preferences back as they were with the new game update.
