I had to reload windows7 on my computer. I lost everything, when I reloaded Aces High the game looks and plays diffrent. The ground is a gery color, when I move my joystick (saitek x52) it jerks. I can't get my vox to work with the buttons I used before. I was able to load everything else on it Where should I go for help? :bhead
-
so you reinstalled windows...did you reinstall all the drivers for your mobo, video card, sound card, etc...etc...etc, to make sure everything is working properly?
if you didn't save the settings, skins, terrains and sounds folders before you wiped your drive out...you're starting from scratch in ah.
-
I had to reload EVERYTHING all skins ect. ect. :headscratch:

I had to reload EVERYTHING all skins ect. ect. :headscratch:
yup...i'm guessing you have never done a full windows reload before. well, now you know...keep copies of things you want to keep, preferrably on a different drive.
-
Any ideas on how to fix my problems?
-
yes, start resetting everything to the way you want it...of course make sure you have all the correct drivers for windows installed before you start tweaking ah again.
-
Let's see a DXDIAG output. That will tell us a lot about what may be missing or what may need to be changed.
-
What is a DXDIAE output? How do I find it and how do I show it to you. I am the most computer savvy guy. Thanks in advance for any help.
-
Go to START/RUN, and type into the window DXDIAG and hit ok This will start the DXDIAG program. It may ask you if you want the signed drivers blah blah, just ok it and let it run. After a couple of minutes it will finish. In the lower right corner of the window there is a button to save the info to a text file. Click that and save it to your desktop. "X" out the DXDIAG window and double click the new file on your desktop. It may ask what you want to use to open it with, scroll down and click "notepad", and click ok.
Copy the top third of the info, down to AND INCLUDING <SOUND DEVICES> and paste it here on the board.
-
I have DXDIAG saved on my desktop, but it will not paste?
-
you have to open that text file up...then highlight the text you want to copy and paste with your mouse...once you have that done, right click on any part of the highlighted text and left click on the word "copy"...start a reply to this discussion then in the empty box right click then left click on the word "paste".

You do not have the native sound card drivers loaded. Bluetooth devices can cause a lot of performance problems as well.
This appears to be a laptop as it is using a mobile video chip. Did it come with Windows 7 installed, or are you trying to update the operating system? If you are, where did you get the OS?
The 9400M mobile video chip is a fairly low end video chip.
