How long does it take to go back to a previous in game ID?

I'm not sure, so don't quote me but I think if your switching to a "new" name you have to keep it for a week before you can switch again.

If your switching to a name you had befor it could be  months as you have to wait until "unused" names get purged from the list. On the other hand you can contact HTC during working hours and if you can prove the old name was yours they can get it back for you.

You can switch handles every 30 days if one wishes. I believe B4buster, got his old ID back. I would talk to him about how many flaming hoops he had to jump through. :devil

Your talking 3 tours or as many months, you could just contact HTC I am sure they would let you switch back to your old id after a month. All your perks for the account will be saved.

I would suggest that you email HTC if you're encountering problems.
