Fortunately the pilot managed to open reserve chute and survived quite a rough landing into the forest.   :O
He rescued the poor eagle from slings and let him fly away  :salute
 The language is... priceless  :x

great vid, fortunately both are Ok!
Hanging on the Reserve you are just a passenger without control, he had a lucky landing, a little more to the right and
he would end up on a more inclined slope.

Great both are ok. What an experience.

-
I'm amazed how little empathy the bloke showed for the animal, considering they share the same hobby.

-
I'd probably react the same way considering the condition of my shorts!

				amazing vid :aok

It ain't a hobby for the bird. You'd think it would have better eye sight and flight characteristics than to collide with a fricking paraglider in the sky. It's not like it was really crowded there. Since the bird nearly killed them both and the paraglider was NOT food at the time, I can understand why the guy would be a bit ticked off. :huh

Video title says it was a buzzard though, not an eagle.

I know it's his work, but I'm sure he enjoys it.

The Eagle probably didn't reackon on the size of that thing. I think considering its the Eagle's airspace, the paraglider man should have been a bit more apologetic  :old:

It is not an eagle, it is a vulture.

-
Poor thing. :( Glad nothing worse happened.

Big birds of prey are just awesome animals!
-
There were three birds originally. Looks like two saw it coming and one wasn't watching where he was going.

We don't have birds like this where I live. I just saw the wings and assumed. I did notice the very short feathers on his head.

Birds are humanities menace in the sky! Drive them extinct like we did the mammoths!

Personaly, given the situation, I would of informed that bird that until I'm absolutley assured otherwise, his company may become quite welcomed and I insist he stick around at least until dinner.
