Title: Retirement
Post by: TUK on November 02, 2011, 02:32:11 PM
Hello fellow FSO participants.  I would like to announce the retirement of my FSO and AH gaming career.  For 8 years now I have been a player in these online battles.
The time has come for me to move on to other things. My children are not babies anymore and we are somewhere every night of the week it seems. I have also started a new hobbie flying rc aircraft.
I would like to thank all of the Cm's, Co's, and friends, that I have made over the years. Our memories will last forever, and I appreciate the times we spent together.  :salute
WD40 will be disbanded before your next event.  We have a 15-20 man roster that will be looking for rides. Please look for them in the arenas and give them rides, they are good guys.  :bhead

One last note, I hope that FSO's continue to be enjoyed by all players and that you guys have a great time with your events.  If any of you need anything, just drop me a pm and I will help with anything.
PS. Someone please continue to start a Photo thread in the forums so I can see the photo's from each FSO.   :salute Friday NIght Squad Operations....  Jamie Tucker aka TUK151

Was a pleasure being a part of WD40 for FSO......   TUK, your one of the best, and the gents in WD40 are some of the funniest and craziest SOBs ive ever played with, but when it came down to it, dead serious in getting the assigned job done.

Things i learned: Always keep a roll of papertowels next to my computer while flying FSO, inevitably whatever i was drinking at one point or another was sprayed across my desk, monitor, or back up into my sinus due to a squadies joke or comment.

If WD40 says its your birthday, and sent you greetings.....Its your birthday....period...deal with it.

Mayo knows the fuel load out, burn rate, ord and maximum distance for every vehicle ever produced on planet earth.

Theres a good chance that Vart is flying naked, or in his negligee

Prowl3r will spend an extra 30mins flying your wing on the return trip if your all shot up, and struggling to make it home, if not to protect you, then to tell you how stupid you look trying to save a B25 with more parts left over target, then are coming home.

Lastly, that im really gonna miss flying with you guys  :salute

Dont be a stranger TUK, and thanks for letting me be a part of the best squad to ever fly in FSO  :aok :salute

Agreed. Not like you had a situation where attendance had dwindled. No reason to break up a perfectly good squad. Surely a new cat herder will step up from the group. ;)

We have been disbanded. The fellas have been contacted, and they will be looking for some rides.  I'm guessing only a handful will be still playing.  We lost our Xo as well due to personal issues.
I have been the one who copleted the orders, sent out the orders, prepped prior to launch, ect....  The crew of (Happy Birthday Bandits, WD40) that I assembled, were in-game pilots, that could fly, or drive anything in the game.
We did not have another person in which I could give the task of CO to.   :bhead
I will try to start a list of the guys on my roster that would want to fly in the upcoming event.
Vart69, Duck21, Chainsaw, Prowl3r, Strokes, 007Rusty, Relic, Gumpsta, MBailey,02b1ace, Mayo, Cavalry, Snuggie, Ect....

:cry Sorry to see you go!

You were so good to me for my first CiC after taking over JG2. I am grateful for all the help you gave.

Bitter sweet for me too ... I have to pass the CO torch with the new time change so November and December will be my last of FSOs for me. My little guy is not so little anymore and bedtime gets later and later and getting home is getting closer and closer to bedtime. It was inevitable for me eventually regardless of the time change. I will miss ya' and I will miss the event.

Keep in touch! You know how to find me! ♥

TUK a BIG <S> to you sir.  Sorry to see you depart but I am sure its for a better time.  Don't be a stranger and do drop in from time to time even only to post a note  :)

The 325th VFG would gladly take your squad in tack.  We are comprised of squad sections currently so adding in your guys (another squad) would allow them to fly together and be in a larger squad.

TUK best of luck to you in your endeavors from the 325th VFG.   :salute  :salute

And you sir get the Solid Gold Dancers  :salute
