 :aok An Apache flys over my house atleast twice a month, a blackhawk almost every day. I can see an airport from my backyard.

When I was teaching Command and General Staff College, one of my students was from an Arizona Guard fling wing unit. He called them apathys and crashhawks.   :D

At the time they still had some of the old cobra's on hand for training. They used them mostly for harsh landing practice since they didn't want to slide the new choppers on the pavement.

He did get me into the Cobra simulator. Fun stuff. He seemed surprised that I got 4 hits out of 5 tows fired. He had no idea about my computer gaming background.  :)

My alarm clock is a CH-47 every morning. Camp San Luis Obispo. They have so much hardware just parked in massive storage lots.
