Calibrated in Windows and tests fine.
Calibrated in game.
In flight AND in rudder mapping only get max right rudder with slightest touch. Get zero left rudder.
Latest drivers...windows say functioning properly.
Not using CH Control Manager...never did....all devices operating independently.
Swapped in new rudder pedals...same prob.
Downloaded fresh game ... same prob.
Saved and used all my stick settings and they are set correctly.
Obviously same problem or I wouldn't be posting here.

Is it selected in AH? If so, get a powered hub. You may not be getting enough juice.
-
Do you have z rotation min, mid, max assigned to anything?
-
You might have set it to rudder trim by mistake :old:

Hi.
Thanks for ideas.
I've been using CH gear successfully [that's arguable] for 8 years.
"selected"? You mean in control mapping? Yes, definitely. I guess, I mean I'm seeing all the info mentioned.
Nothing assigned to rudder min/max.
Not assigned as trim.
Hub is powered. (Hmm, maybe I'll try bypassing the hub)
Just Z axis leaps to max with any touch right. No response with any left z-axis input.

Of course you tried an alternate USB port on your computer?

When you reinstalled AH did you use your old settings folder? if you did you might try moving the settings folder somewhere it won't be read and setting everything from scratch. It's odd that it works in Windows and not AH.

do you use your rudder pedals for any other PC games ? like racing games?
sounds like by your description like the pedals selector switch is switched over for gas/brake instead of rudder pedals

Case CLOSED
No idea. I shuffled around the ports yesterday to no effect.
To be sure, I tried again today. Swapped ports...it works fine. Went back to old port; it works fine.
This had me fuddled for a week to the point of swapping in new indestructable CH pedals.
I'm good to go. Thanks to all the multi-star gold and platinum ideas.

Glad it's working. Leads me to believe you might have a crimped or nicked wire somewhere (either the plug or where it enters the pedal's base. Swapping to another port might have jostled the wire enough to no longer be shorting it?

While pinched wires are endemic to CH pedals, the fact that a new set of pedals did the same thing points to a different problem.

Good to hear!

Hurrah! I keep to the same ports for my input devices after such problems.
