That was really sad news, even tho the CBS veteran got to be 92 years old. I always liked his essays on the end of each '60 Minutes' episode, and he usually made som seriously good points for afterthought. Well, now he's gone after some complications during a minor surgery in a New York hospital. What a shame..
Did you guys know he was one of 6 correspondants who was joining the first bombing of Nazi Germany? He was also among the first journalists who visited the Jewish concentrationcamps after the war had ended.. So there's sure some history behind this man. I salute you Andy Rooney. RIP. :salute
