Title: Need a quick offline-missions DL catchup.

Ive never been able to download an Offline mission, due to missing the "misstemp folder"
Could someone explain to me step by step how to download an offline mission please?
Also, can i just create a new folder titled "misstemp"? or do i have to re-download the game?

yes..you can just re-create a new misstemp folder, and the directions to downloading an offline missions are in the folder when you un-zip it. if you dont have the time to read it, here it is - the .RES file goes in the missres folder, and the file folder + the .MIS file goes into the misstemp folder.

You only need the .res file to play a mission.  The .mis file & MISSTEMP folder are only needed for creating and/or editing missions. :salute

How do i go about getting everything?

When i download a file, its never "zipped", as people say.

Ignore the red blocks, i had to edit my desktop so i wouldnt get a PNG.

this is how it should look after you download it, zipped and unopenable unless you right click and choose "extract all files"

it should look like this then, unzipped and openable.

after that, open it up and copy/paste the .MIS file into the misstemp folder and the .RES file/mission folder into the missres

All of my missions are zipped Tyrannis.  Try this Quick Installation (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/index.php/topic,319890.0.html) link.
Click on the image in my signature to access all of my missions.

thanks 100coogn  it is a lot easier when the missions are zipped
