Title: DO-217 ???

Seems like there is a real shortage of German Bombers ... Has this one ever been considerd ? It was a decent aircraft, fairly fast, reasonable load, long range ??? Might be a real option over the JU88 ???  :aok

The most requested German bombers are, in alphabetic order, the:

Do217
He111
He177
Ju188


Personally, of the three that are MA suitable, I prefer the Ju188 by a wide margin.  The Do217 probably has the strongest case for being added as it was the most common of the three.

Same here, although I would hate for it to be added over Do217/He-111, problem is Do-17 was a short ranged twin engine with almost no bombload.

Between Germany/Russia we need more buffs!

i would really like to see the he111 added, i for one think that we need a few more glass nosed aircraft, and some parosal wing style aircraft, the pby5a for example, (read my post on the pby)

DO217 and Tu-2 are the two medium bombers that I believe would have the most value for the late war arena.

I think the Ju188 would be superior to the Do217 in the LWA, but it wasn't as widely used in WWII.

I would like to see more JU88 variants and ord loadouts.
