As of right now, you'd have to put your money on your Packers. I was talking with a Packer fan at the store today and we were trying to come up with an AFC team that could give them a run. The Patriots on a good day maybe but they've been inconsistent. The Steelers and Ravens both seem schizophrenic as do the Jets. You just don't know what you will get from week to week.
That applies to the NFC teams as well. Hard to believe the Niners are an 8-1 team. Eagles fell off the map, Giants and Cowboys aren't anything to write home about. The Bears might be the biggest threat if their defense keeps playing the way they are.
Lets just say with the way they are playing, it's a good time to be a Packer fan.

American Football (Rugby) is unwatchable due to the commercial breaks shown during the match.
The Patriots in my opinion
-
I'm hoping the Saints will hold out for next years SB that way they can set another SB record by being the first team to win it in their home stadium.

If Rodgers keeps playing the way he is, Packers are unstoppable. No QB in the history of football has ever been as good as Rodgers is right now.

Football games generally have the best commercials of anything on TV. Best as in, entertaining and not wanting to make me pluck by eyes out or wish that DVRs worked on live sporting events.
-
Don't know, don't care, I just hope it's a decent game instead of a blow out.

It actually works well because the game is designed to have short breaks. Better than having to wear a diaper for a futbol match. :old:

I heard today that the packers are on suspension from the NFL for the rest of the year for violating league policies.
SEE RULE #2 No sneaking weapons of any kind into NFL stadiums. (Rodgers included)

November 15th, really?...

He's scary good right now. The thing that stands out to me is how well he throws on the run. He's putting it a long way down field even though he hasn't always had the chance to plant his feet and throw. And his accuracy is amazing.
I think Marino in his prime had that kind of ability but never had the resources Rodgers has.
Rodgers in the end is the perfect Packer QB as he's a combination of Bart Starr and Brett Favre. Cool and methodical like Starr, not making mistakes, but with a fair amount of Favre's gunslinger ability too. That makes for a scary combo.

Dallas has a football team?? Since when?
Patriots or ChiTown Bears

GO PATS!
Wouldnt it be cool if the Pats ended the Packers streak in the Superbowl?! Oops I said it. "So let it be written..."

The failure of stopping some of the big passing plays on defense could be their downfall. The offense right now seems unstopable. Only if they had a magnum running back.
Go Pack Go

packers already won the Superbowl this season.

i'm sure the 18-0 pats thought the same thing :aok there are no gaurantees, which is pretty much why i started this thread. as they say, any given sunday! it's obvious who i'd like to see in the big game, but the Packers weren't the favorite going into last years playoffs, not by a longshot. actually, they barely made it in. they just got hot at the right time, and they've stayed on that high ever since. we all know that these things can't and don't last forever. i just hope it lasts throughout this season :rock

As much as I love my Pats, I really would like the Packers to do it, just to piss off the Dolphins!

have the dolphins EVER won a game? ever?
-
Houston Texans are the best team in the AFC...1st rate defense second week in a row, and a top 5 offense... They are playing the best ball right now. To be honest I think the Texans will give the Packers a run for their money.

only undefeated team ever? hello? McFly? :headscratch:

With Schaub out, they are far from "the best team in the AFC". Last Saturday? Yes, your statement would hold true. Now? No way in hell.
Packers appear to be on a true course for a Repeat. Although their Secondary needs to step it up a notch, which I believe they will.

Actually Schuab is not the core to this offense...never has...you have to look at the yards after the catch...shaub only passes 10-15 yards, then it is the receiver or the running back to take it home...that is what happened last Sunday...threw two 10-15 yard passes, then Jones and Foster both ran it all the way..80 yards a piece.
I would say yes, they still are the best. Leinhart can pass, and with Andre coming back he will stretch out that secondary and the runningbacks will have a field day with any defense...even the best...oh wait LOL! that is our defense...how silly of me :ahand
The Packers are giving up way too many points...even against easy teams...i suspect they will lose early in the playoffs.

Yes?

Well... it ain't gonna be the Lions. That's for sure. :rofl

A Harbaugh team. :noid. IMO the 49rs D is better than the Packers D. On the AFC side, if the Ravens offfense starts to play consistantly then they should be able to make a push for the playoffs and possibly the SB.
-
Im also going with the Harbaugh's, Preferably Jim
Defense and running the ball are soo important once the nasty weather shows up
fast forward to NFC championship at Lambeau, mid january 20 degrees, 20 mph winds
GB's offense isnt built for that sort of game
Niners win 6th ring vs Ravens (get a preview on turkey day)
-
Go Ravens!
How bout them Colts :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl
Anyone whose a true Ravens fan enjoys seeing the Colts in this situation.
If you must ask why, you must be too young to remember that Ersay (owner)
totally lied to the City of Baltimore and fans when he bought Colts,
moved them to Indy.
