Title: Windows 7 Caps Lock Tone
Post by: GNucks on November 20, 2011, 05:08:34 PM
I don't know how this setting got turned on, but I can't figure out how to turn it off. When I press Caps Lock I get a high-pitched beep, and when I turn Caps off I get a low-pitched beep. I don't like it, there's an indicator light on my keyboard dammit, and why do I need an audio tone for any keys anyway  :huh With that logic we should have computers say each letter to us when we type, so we know what key we just pressed

*facepalm*

I used to get so annoyed when people would post questions on the forums that they could've just Googled, now I'm one of them  :(

I'll say I just wanted to rant about the stupid feature and leave it at that  :)

Edit: Found out that the default button for turning all the toggle tones is holding Num Lock for 5 seconds, I have a certain annoying animal to blame for that.  :lol
