I know i have asked this before, but here I go again....Do any of you have the install file for Air Warrior for Windows. The version that was on AOL and Compuserve. I have about 200 old films I want to watch, but AW2 and AW3 don't read them. I know SOMEONE has to have this file. :pray

Give me a week or two to locate it again, but I should have it. I'm sorting out old CDs after moving into our new house and I found several with AW4W films and the actual program on them. I might have Windows 95 too if needed.

I would but the version im talking about was never sold retail. It was only available as a download. I have every retail version that was made, including AW for Dos, AWII and AWIII.....The version im looking for is Air Warrior for Windows which was the version that AOL and Compuserve had. :salute

If you are planning on installing win95 on a amd machine faster than 300mhz, there is a patch that must be run at the correct moment during your installation or you will get a windows protection error on every start.

Thanks...I have an old Pentium 200mmx Dell that I can try it on, but first im going to try installing it on my Mac using parallells. In the past I have been able to install Win98 and Win 3.11 without any problems. Thats how I have been running AW3, on a WinXp parallells install. Works perfectly.

I think I've got it on an old Gamestorm CD if you need it. I know I have AW2 and 3 as well.
LOL those old films would be a crack up. Some good memories of those days.

If you can find it that would be awesome. I forgot about the gamestorm cd until you mentioned it. I just looked online for it..Some guy posted a fragmented rar file to it, but the sharing site he used doesn't work for me. I click on download and it just sits there. http://www.mpbt3025.com/index.php?q=node/133/ (http://www.mpbt3025.com/index.php?q=node/133/)

Lol guys..i feel stupid... On a whim I went searching through the AW2 disc, and wouldn't you know it.....There was an AW4W directory on there with the full game install files! Thanks to everyone who volunteered to look for it. I am all set.

You won't need the patch for windows 98
-
Works perfectly in XP. I just have to check the "run in 256 color" box under properties for the exe file. :aok
-
I still miss that game, and Gamestorm in general. Good times.

LOL BigR .. glad you found it .. I had very much forgotten about alla stuff we packed into the shipped CD's.
There is also DoK's rendition of the theme song for the AW2 video
(which most of us thought was better, darker, more expressive of what Air Warrior was all about than the music applied by the suit dweebs)
