Title: custom sounds

i took a 3 yr hiatus from the game.  i now have restarted/.  i am having trouble getting  custom sounds to work.  example: p38 engines sound like a radial, i downloaded like i did in the past.  i've uninstalled the game and re downloaded it again and it had no differnce.  if i go to the sounds folder and click on p38 p51 f4u p47, they all sound like thay should....................??????  what am i doing wrong!!!!  has something changed or what...............at wits end here

I had a mixed of sounds, some of Mitsu yours and i can't remember the name, but it was a spitfire mustang p47 and one other.

It could either be Fruda's Dedicated's Soundpack or mine - you can download it at http://www.367thdynamitegang.com/downloads.html (http://www.367thdynamitegang.com/downloads.html)

Thanks for the the replies.  And as far as loading then, is it still the same ie: renaming the sound file thats currently there, and open a new file sounds??
