Title: Reality series
Post by: Meatwad on November 28, 2011, 01:09:42 PM
Apparently the new fad for networks to get ratings are shows called "*Insert random word* Wars"

Wish I would be in control, they all would be cancelled  :t

NO! Only because someone will have to go and put sausage on it

Give it time, food network will do it after the rest of them have been run into the ground

Troll wars.  Time compressed video of somebody trolling forums/games and talking about the reactions he's getting.  It would also be an excellent show if that was the first 20 minutes of the hour long episode, then the people involved got to meet face to face and carve at one another with rusty meat hooks in some kind of caged pit.

They add War on the end because War Sells. If it's not a battle for someone else, then they don't care.

For example, Storage Wars wouldn't be as cool if it it was Storage Auction or Storage Eviction and repossession.

We are obsessed with war, battle, competition. As long as it's not my problem, I can laugh about it.

i prefer "battle"  like the old "battle of the network stars" , "battle bots" and the like.

acceptable modern day equivalent?  "battle of the lipstick lesbians: the jello files"

i'd watch.

Now battle bots was great to watch

Storage wars could be rebranded as "Transfer of nonpay private possession conflicts"
