awhile back i read a post where you told a person how to find and change the connection buffer settings and for the life of me i cant find how to get to those settings again
im using Win xp

If you are talking about the Ethernet stack settings, I would never tell anyone to alter those.  The game is designed to use the default settings that ship with the operating system.

It has been a long time since I messed with dial-up.  Try right-clicking on the dialer icon and go to the properties.

The other place to look would be in the "Modem" icon in the "Control Panel".

wish i could find that post again,  the person had disconnect problems and you sent him to the control panel, click on something then hit advanced tab and he could move the buffer sliders down,  i found it once but dont remember how i got to it now.

I remember what you are talking about, but I cannot remember how to find it.  It has been too many years since I have seen a modem connected to a computer.

ok,  ill look alittle harder and maby i can find that post again, "its an internal modem" btw,
