yea that's seems to be the common perception with Bi plane fights... They sure fly slow .. But the action is fast.. The turn fights  and reversals are so heart pounding at least for me  :)..
Those WW1 aircraft when set up as axis vs allies make for great action paced fights..
Be a great one to forget turning the.....  I _ _ _ S .... on for.. .  :D

The Hundred Days (18 July-11 November 1918) was the final Allied offensive of the on the Western Front. The stalemate on the Western Front had been broken by the great German offensive of the spring and summer of 1918, which had pushed the Allies back up to forty miles and created a series of huge salients in the Allied line. They had failed to achieve their main objective, which had been to separate the British from the French and capture the channel ports, and had drained much of the strength out of the German army. As the German offensives began to run out of power, Foch began to plan the Allied counterattack. This was to begin with a series of attacks designed to eliminate the salients in preparation for a final campaign in 1919. If the initial attacks went well, then Foch hoped to launch a major offensive that he hoped would push the Germans back off French soil. Even if that succeeded, there was every chance that the Germans might choose to defend their own borders, leaving the final campaign still to be fought. However the war would end much sooner than expected when the offensive began. The Offensive set the stage for Germany's retreat and final surrender in November, 1918. As the offensive rages on the ground The Royal Air Force and the Imperial German Air Service clash in a fight to the finish above Northern France.

HAH.. :) Those planes are easy to tell apart. The ostentatious makings alone act like icons..

Good fights in there last night.  Sorry I had to leave suddenly, wife ack became intense.

Took me about 10 minutes to get used to no-icons again.  You can understand why people who haven't done it before are put off at first.

Some fun fights Mr OM
I’m with you on that took about a half hour to get the groove back on for me. Once you get used to the no icon settings it soon becomes second nature and very familiar. There is nothing elite about it. Some have a hard time opening their mind to diversity and condemn what they clearly do not understand, that’s understandable, it take a willingness and desire to work through the learning curve.  For many the no icon settings are a refreshing change from the status quo.

Its just something different and a nice change of pace. For me personally it reinvigorated my passion for flight simming.  Things were becoming the same old same old. now days with large monitors becoming very affordable great video hardware and tools like Track ir 5 flying no icon settings are becoming very popular, and have been in many other Sims. Its clearly the wave of the future, its time to ride the wave  :)

Some truely great fights last night. I was pleasently surprised by the small number of triplanes upped, even if it was funny to watch Jaeger fly his sideways.  :P
