Ran accross this interesting story.  This guy not only survived the sinking, but manages to get out, plus swimm to shore.   :eek:

Good read, thanks. It's a real shame they couldn't verify his story until after his death.

Man those guys back then are just incredibly brave heros to me. I'm sad to see them go.
