I don't want to sound like an @*$ hole but the first half of the video was very boring. That's one of the reasons I don't enjoy IFR, you can't see S**1.

Yeah, I even edited out about 4 minutes. It's pretty dull. I added the music to make it slightly less dull.

Nicely done Pac.  I bet I speak for a number of folks here that really like watching you progress in your training.  Keep it up.   :aok

300'?  You using metric feet?

It's VFR weather in your video bud!

1:10 from breakout to touchdown at ~ 600fpm? 700 overcast and 10 miles of vis. You can use that as an alternate!

(Good stuff. Don't start pushing it. Days like that are GREAT easy IFR days to hone your IFR skillz.)

Cool, sorry I haven't been keeping up, did you get your instrument license? If so congrats!

That sounds about right. The ATIS was broadcasting 300' so that's why I used that, was nearly top of the hour

New Braunfels was advertising 600 overcast and the lowest approach takes you down to 550 AGL. I ended up never seeing the runway and headed to San Marcos (my alternate) and flew the ILS there. It was lower, but it was kinda foggy so it looked bad

When you'll grow up in your aviation career, you'll never use the words ' down to xxx feet' for a ceiling anymore, as it's irrelevant  :old:
