Have noticed that the Flak is way too hard to kill with tank rounds. Have seen cases of several tanks putting several rounds into them and they keep going. They might lose their gun and/or engine but hard to die. I don't have the film but last encounter my M18 shot 3 rounds point blank that went thru the Flak and did nothing while the flak killed me easily.
Just the opposite of that have seen that the M18 is way to easy to kill. Heck i wouldn't be surprised if a pilot with a 45 could kill it.
While I'm at it, what's up with tank rounds continuing on by the target even if it's hit? Does the game have a problem graphically showing a round stop where it hits? Especially noticeable when watching someone else shoot at a target.

Dude, the M18 would have been pretty easy to kill in real life. Even a .50 cal could have penetrated it from the front.
M18 was supposed to rely on speed to survive, not armor. Learn to use the speed, because thats all you'll get.
As for the flacker, if you're talking about shooting it in the turret multiple times, or shooting it in the tracks, I think thats intentional. IIRC, HTC changed it so you couldn't kill flackers by shooting it in the turret (about 1/2 its target profile) multiple times, even when it was just sheet metal, and (I don't think) ammunition wasn't stored 'in' the turret.

the flaks don't want to die! direct broadside hits that blow panzers and panthers apart do nothing to it! I try to take out the gun first shot because I don't want him killing me while I sit there reloading 3 or 4 times! and the M-18 should IMO be atleast as hardy as any other open GV say osti/wirble/m-16, and maybe M-8 although I am not sure of its turret as well as lvt's

Two days ago, I put 192 rounds into a wirb from a manned 38mm field gun and it drove off unscathed.
It was so close I was able to put rounds into every bit of the hull, turret, and tracks........but nothing.

it is as hardy as them (based on what I've seen offline). I've killed multiple panzers and T-34's with an ostie in a single sortie, so I'm not supprised in the least that the M18 is easily killed by a wirblewind.
Perhaps HTC models things like ammo racks and fule tanks, etc. When firing on a lightly armored target, volume of fire can be just as effective as the damage each round inflicts.

192 38mm rounds should at least scratch the paint, but it doesn't.

Oh, and here I thought that using the perked one-shot-wonder to camp a spawn where return fire is almost certian was a bad idea. Stupid me :bhead.
