Have to say <S> to the bish and knits. If it was 1 on 1 per country Rooks would stop u everytime but combined it's a tough task. Better hope High Tech never adds another country that unites with Rooks or you are both toast even with Dallas uniting squads. Lol but then again he always runs from a fight 1 on 1. <S> VDallas lol.

Interestingly no one complained about hording in Rookland when we were doing it today ;)

No that would explain why he posted that, not what he meant. ;)

Must've missed it. I didn't see any Rooks attack anything while I was logged in

Rooks went on a roll and captured 9 bases. They had no problems with being "organized" (big numbers in a mission and all-green darbar over enemy field), the had no problems with shutting down FH's, they had absolutely no problem with being the most numerous chesspiece and ganging Bish together with the Nits, yet having no ENY limit whatsoever.
Then the tides turned, Bish struck back and a bit later Nits started to go for the reset.
"WAAAH, only hordes"
"They can only do it with numbers"
"WTF no ENY for them? Fix that crap" (<- my pet peeve. Not only that they only start to count when it's against them, but it's also amazing how the majority can't grasp the concept of "absolute" vs "relative" no matter how many years they have been playing)

I saw 108 bishops vs 62 rooks and 67 knights during that time period.

I enjoyed seeing when the mass of rooks/bish switched to knights towards teh end of the night - something like 130+ Knights vs 80 bish/rooks, our country channel blew up with questions like "how do we get perks if the war is won?"

I massively doubt that one.

Perhaps lots of people do, but I doubt it's alot percentage wise, and in the context of how it was stated, I agree with luche. Very few people switched because of "teh hordz"

We went from 1-1.2 ENY to .6-.7 in less than 90 minutes, including the first 5 minutes of the new map after we won it.
I'd be more amused by the bandwagon if they realised they deprive themselves of even more of the perk points they so desperatley/eagerly seek by contributing to a greater imbalance than they would if they often times stayed put on the lower-numbered loosing side. Loosers get awarded perks too, kids.

Let me get this straight:
You guys take the change in numbers as a proof for players changing sides "in masses"? Hum... facepalm or lol smiley... :headscratch:
Ever noticed how much the numbers change over the day, even without no war victory is anywhere in sight? Ever thought that having numbers may be a essential part and couse of winning the war in the first place? Ever noticed how player just will log off in disgust when their country get's beaten up?
Sorry, but you have to come up with something better. :)
Until then, it's just one of those things everybody knows... like "friendly troops reset maproom" some time ago or "you 'win' the collisions if your connection is faster" :D

lusche it may be hard to believe but we dont actually have a bunch of guys calling up all the knights that are not logged to hurry up and play. however i did notice several players that i had killed not 1 hour before all of a sudden flying next to me. not a biggie as i have noticed that some guys that were flying as knights next to me all of a sudden i am killing when the other countries are about to win the war. it does happen more often than what you are trying to admit.
