was playing fine earlier ...
went off to sort my car out, came back, tried to log on and all i get is
'aces high has stopped working'
pulling my hair out now.. reinstalled game and disabled anti virus .. still nothing
help please

The anti-virus could have corrupted something in the game, but it also sounds like the game is not being allowed to connect to the Internet, or is partially being blocked from connecting to the Internet.
What anti-virus is it? Are you running a software firewall?

Im having the same problem! i downloaded aces high, the hi res pack, works fine off line, but when i click on online, the game loads for a while and send me a mesage: Unable to connect to Game Manager. and nothing works, just click in ok and the game returns to menu. i have the norton internet security running, im already disable firewall, anti virus and every thing, keep the same error. what may i do? help guys, i just came to usa and buy a new notebook only to play aces high, and the game doesnt works online... The notebook is a hp dv6, Intel Core i7 second gen, radeon 6770m 1gb dd5, 6gb dd3 ram, 750 hd, windows 7 home. what is wrong?? please?? help!

The error is telling you that something on your computer is blocking the game from accessing the Internet. Norton is one of the worst for blocking access, even when it is disabled as disabling it only stops it from reporting, it does not stop Norton from blocking.

Do a malware sweep - sounds like something with a bad proxy input might have got onto your machine. Use malware bytes (free download) just to be on the safe side.

im already try to allow the aces high in the windows firewall and the problem keep happening, what i should do? please help! i have to uninstal norton??? help!

I have seen it where removing Norton fixes the problem.

Use a removal tool from Norton to remove it, just using uninstall can prove problematical.

Men, norton unninstalled with the up software and keep the same error??!?!!? what is the problem now? please, help ...conection is good, im in a hotel in texas, there is no firewall here, what i need to do?

Something is still blocking the game from connecting to the Internet. After you press "OK" to login, how long is it before you get the message the game cannot connect to the game manager?
If it is almost instanteous, then there is absolutely something blocking the game from the Internet.

No, it take a time, about 20 seconds, and the game freezes, only the music keep playing, the dashboad becames empty and nothing happens for 20 seconds, after that i receive the message, how something maybe blocking the game? not the windows firewall, im authorized the game, the norton already have been uninstaled with the software above, and the laptop its brand new, i buy it only to play aces high.. :(..

If it is taking 20 seconds, then the game is timing out trying to get the connection established. This suggests it is not being blocked from the Internet, but there is something wrong with the communications between the server and the hotel. It could be a NAT issue within the hotel network as well.

I have the same problem lately. Only happens when I'm up in bombers and shooting nme aircrafts attacking me. The game stops and I get a message fm windowns saying it stopped working and will try to find a solution which never comes... Very frustrating and pple are probably thinking I bail all the time... If I disable Norton then what? I am vulnerable? How do you do that?

Skuzzy as I said I have similar problem but mine only occurs when i get into a fight while defending from a bomber. I've been told it could be a need to ajust graphic details...could it be it?

There is a bug with the bombers which can cause a crash to occur. We have fixed it and it will be in the next patch.

Its happened to me several times in the past couple of weeks. Sometimes I'm gunning in a bomber and the other times have been in a fighter (sometimes just flying straight). It happened just a few minutes ago to me and one of my squadmates within a couple of minutes apart.
