Thanks LD but that isn't looking right. Specifically I am looking for the pin-out diagram for the stick.  I've isolated a short in one wire.  It is part of the bundle that goes from the stick, through the base and plugs into a circuit board in the base.  It is a blue wire with a white stripe.  I'm trying to find out if it's attached to a button I can live without or if it's a little more necessary.
