For many years, we had about a dozen data closets at the courthouse like that.
There were half a dozen different agencies, each with their own staff, wiring without a care for any of the other agencies. It was an absolute nightmare.
Good thing that sealed cases, financial information, and juvenile data were secure on the mainframe and AS/400 with free reign to the data closets...(I'm being facetious)
