Title: Cougar and warthog users
Post by: james on December 08, 2011, 05:03:36 PM
(http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h113/rcmtdriver/photo1-2.jpg) Got this extension from a guy in New Zealand at
this -----> http://simhq.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/3184593/1/Selling_warthog_extension_offs.html website.
Really worth the money and the wait to have it made and shipped. Just wanted to show some of you thrustmaster cougar and
warthog guys a stick mod that is worthwhile.

Just now installed, wired and test flown offline. WOW! What a difference for the cougar. I'll be getting a warthog after the holidays. The center notch is not as noticable, the length is perfect for a center stick also. I went with 4" so when I let go of the stick it will center itself. I'm off to the LWA to try it now.

It also lets you offset the handle for a more comfortable ergonomic center mount.

Yes it does, it makes it so that you can set the offset to what you are comfortable with. After using it in the MA for a bit I find that the shooting is more stable and I use the stick elevator on scaled now to save some E. If not I tend to over pull and spend E too quickly in a turn. Just not used to it but I really wish other sticks had this feel also.

I did the same thing. With the extension you don't need scaling.   :joystick:
