dang. you guessed the plane on the first try. when i did this i was at about 50 feet doing 600-ish MPH. so i was long gone before i even saw the explosion :lol

There aren't many aircraft that carry two British 500lbers close together, just Boston Mk III, Lancaster Mk III, Mosquito Mk VI and Mosquito Mk XVI. It was unlikely to be the Boston and if it had been a Lancaster there would have been more bombs.
That, and the fact that in the story I related the conclusion of, I was flying a Mossie, so the actual type of aircraft used in the screen shot wasn't relevant. :p
