I would like to see a change in the way the darbar is displayed.
No Dar bar unless within at least 50 to 70 miles of an enemy base,
and no friendly darbar when you are over 50 to 70 miles away from
a friendly base.
We are doing this in the current scenario, would be nice for the MA.
Makes one to really have to keep a good SA when flying beyond your
own radar range.

I dont think it would change anything. Maybe due my planes short range, i very rarely fly further than 30-35 miles from the base i upped.
But since its a dar-bar thread, what about a variable minimum radar altitude depending on the distance from the tower? Lets say, 50 feet near the base, 500 feet 10 miles away... just an idea.

The dar bar is supposed to help you find fights.
If you don't want to fight, don't fly (above 500? feet).

We need to keep some indication of where the action is.

For scenarios, there are historical reasons for the settings. For the main arenas, this would tend to be discouraging for those wanting to simply jump into the action.

Why are there no bardars for ground? Wouldn't it make it easier for the ground guys to find the big fights?

Not a bad point. Maybe HTC's relatively recent attention to the GV game should also include a GV dar bar to help the ground pounders to find fights. In fact, I hope HiTech reads, I don't GV but helping the guys who do to find the fun battles wouold be a good thing for the game.
